OKAY GUYS THEY ARE UP IN THE SHOP
Both cards AND prints!
PARTAKE, I TELL YOU, IN THE FINENESS OF FRENCH BULLDOGS.
Note: In light of the somewhat time-consuming process of watercoloring, the prints will be $15, which is slightly higher than I previously mentioned.

AN UPDATE as regarding A French Gentleman (or Mr. Frenchie as I have taken to calling him.)
I really, really need to take a few days break from linoleum carving. It’s fun but it makes everything from my shoulders down hurt mightily. I did a quick test and indeed, if I am careful to avoid the printed lines, I can fairly easily/quickly watercolor these little dudes. I still haven’t decided how I’m going to do the border/background, but I’m definitely going to watercolor Mr. Frenchie himself. Because of the extra time (in carving the bigger block/coloring) these are going to be a little more expensive — I’m just going to say $14.
Anyway, I’ll update later, but I’m shortly off to the city to go WRITE WRITE WRITE (and drink a chai latte, mmm.)

Whoops I wrote that last description without the second photo uploading. Here’s that.

YES finally got product photos finished for Heart-Hungry and Pegapup.
I had this thought while cutting and folding just now: I would like to petition MIT to change my degree from “Bachelors of Science in Art and Design” to “Basic Degree in Making Shit.”
AND NOW it is OFF TO ART CHAT (for which I will be late, whoops.)
[desc. two photos of black and white notecards, one with a heart eating a globe with the caption “Sometimes my heart feels like it could eat the whole world,” and one with a selection of Pegapup cartoon cards.]

what what.
Tomorrow there is Art Chat (the winter version of Paint Day) so I will be out of the house and that will be good. Because I am going just a little batshit. (Is that offensive?)

Still in production mode, but I’m very pleased with my first completed “variety pack” of cards. Included are black-and-white sketches of the Houses of Parliament, the chapel in the Museum of City History in Barcelona, Notre Dame in Paris, Kiyomizudera in Kyoto, and the view of Piazzetta di San Marco from St. Mark’s in Venice.
